Don’t we often refer to Paris as the City of Light? Paris at night has incredible potential. Its many lights beautifully highlight its architecture and history. There is no better opportunity to have a night photoshoot in Paris. Over the years, Antoine has mastered capturing these various aspects to showcase you in this cinematic setting. Whether under the sparkling lights of the Eiffel Tower or in the courtyard of the Louvre Museum, you will undoubtedly find the perfect location that suits you best.
When is the best time for a night photoshoot in Paris?
I usually start about 30 minutes before sunset. This magical time, when the sky is still bright, but the city lights begin to turn on, is known as the Blue Hour. Depending on the season and weather, the sky may appear deep blue or take on a reddish glow. As time passes, the sky gradually darkens until it turns completely black. And if, by chance, rain starts to fall, consider it good news! At night, rain is an unexpected ally that should not be underestimated. A well-placed flash in the rain creates a stunning effect.
What should you wear for a night photoshoot in Paris?
In general, it is best to wear colorful clothing so that it stands out in the photos. As you can see in the examples, a red or gold dress will be much more eye-catching. Feel free to ask Antoine for his advice on outfit choices.

Before the photo session, you have the option to book our professional makeup artist, who will know how to enhance your features.If the photo session is early in the morning, don’t worry—she is used to starting early and will come directly to your hotel.

The big moment has arrived!
I suggest we meet directly on location. Prior to the session, I will send you a detailed map along with all the information about the meeting point.
To make communication easier, we can stay in touch via WhatsApp.
Transportation
Once the photo session begins, we will easily move between the different locations you’ve chosen using our vehicle.
This compact car, ideal for getting around Paris, can accommodate 4 people or 3 people plus my lighting assistant.
If needed, you can change outfits inside the car.
Assistant
Some photos require technical and logistical support. Therefore, it is recommended to have an assistant present. They will look after your personal belongings, take care of all the details, and manage the lighting when I’m working with an off-camera flash. Their presence is almost essential for nighttime photo sessions.

Here are some tips to make your photo session in Paris the most exciting moment of your trip:
- Bring something to keep warm (except in summer). Mornings can be chilly at sunrise.
- Travel light. Leave unnecessary items, like your handbag, at the hotel.
- Bring snacks, especially if you’re coming with kids!
- Think about accessories. A bouquet of flowers, sunglasses, a beret, or balloons—fun props will add life to your photoshoot.
- Save your high heels for the photos! Wear comfortable shoes while moving between locations.
