FAQ
EVERYTHING YOU’VE GOT TO KNOW ABOUT YOUR PHOTOSHOOT IN PARIS!
You have questions, click below to get answers.
What is the best moment for a photo session?
It’s best to start early in the morning for two main reasons:
Some locations, especially Trocadéro in front of the Eiffel Tower, get very crowded later in the day.
The light is much softer and more beautiful at sunrise.
That being said, it’s absolutely possible to schedule a photo session later in the day. In that case, I’ll be happy to recommend the best locations depending on the time.
For evening sessions, I prefer starting about 45 minutes before sunset. This time is known as the ‘blue hour’ — when the city begins to light up under a deep blue sky, creating a truly magical atmosphere.
Are the photos edited?
I carefully adjust elements like lighting, contrast, colors, and cropping to enhance each image, while always respecting your natural appearance — I never modify physical features.
You will receive a beautiful selection of both color and black-and-white photographs
What is the delay to have my photos?
Your complete gallery will be delivered within approximately one week. To allow you to relive and share those first precious moments, I will send you a curated selection of about 20 photos on the same day.
How can I get my photos?
I will send you an email with a link to your personal photo gallery on my website. Simply enter your personal ID to access the gallery, where you can download all your photos in high definition, free of any watermarks. You’ll also be able to print any photo you like.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Rain can actually be a wonderful opportunity for unique photos. It rarely lasts long in Paris, and it brings out some beautiful, natural effects — puddles create stunning mirror reflections, and the rain enhances colors once it clears and the sun comes out. If the weather truly becomes too difficult, I will of course suggest rescheduling the photoshoot.
How do we move from one spot to another?
No need to worry about paying for a taxi — I’ll be your personal driver! I have a comfortable Citroën Spacetourer, and the advantage is that you can also change outfits in the car, making the experience even more convenient and enjoyable.
Is transportation time included in the session?
The transportation time between locations is not included, so you can relax and enjoy the moment without any rush.
How can we make the payment?
You can pay by credit card at the end of the session (I have a card reader on hand), and you will receive your receipt immediately via email.
Accepted cards: Visa, VPay, MasterCard, Maestro, and American Express.
Would you recommend some spots for the photoshoot?
Yes, with pleasure! Depending on the duration of your session, I can suggest different tour options.
For example, for a 2-hour session, we could visit the Eiffel Tower, Bir-Hakeim Bridge, and the Louvre Museum.
Can I change clothes during the session?
Yes, absolutely! You can change clothes either in a café or in my car. It might be a bit tricky if you want to change outfits more than once, but for a day & night session, it’s easy to have two different looks.
Could you recommend a hair and makeup stylist and a dress rental store?
Yes, of course! I can provide you with some professional contacts, such as:
A talented hair and makeup artist.
I can also recommend specialists for special requests, such as:
A private cruise on the Seine River aboard an authentic Riva boat (perfect for an unforgettable proposal 😊).
Fresh Champagne.
XXL balloons for a baby announcement session.
Could the deposit be refunded?
In case of cancellation, the deposit is valid for up to 5 years. It can only be refunded in the event of bad weather.
Can I get the Raw files?
Yes, I can provide you with the raw files (actually DNG files, which are the same but lighter in size).
The price depends on the duration of the photoshoot:
1 hour = €50
2 hours = €100
3 hours = €150
4 hours = €200
What kind of camera do you use?
I used to work with 2 Canon R6 MkII, with several lenses L series only (16-35mm f/2.8L, 24-70mm f/2.8L II, 70-200mm f/2.8L, 85mm f/1.4L, 35mm f/1.2L). My camera provides a 25Mp files. So it is possible to print a very large poster from your session. Flashes = Profoto A1 + B10
Will my photos be published?
Not always, but by booking a photoshoot, you agree that your photos may be used on my social media platforms such as Facebook or Instagram.
As a photographer, it is very important for me to showcase my work and build a portfolio to share with potential clients. These platforms serve as my storefront.
However, if you prefer not to have your photos published, please note that there will be an additional fee of €100 per hour for non-usage.
Can I use the photos for commercial purposes?
The photos are for personal use only.
Commercial use or distribution is a violation of property rights.
If you wish to use them for such purposes, please inform your photographer.
GUIDE FOR YOUR PHOTSHOOT
Your photoshoot in detail
Before the photo session, you have the option to book our professional makeup artist, who will know how to enhance your features. If the photo session is early in the morning, don’t worry—she is used to starting early and will come directly to your hotel.
The big moment has arrived!
I suggest we meet directly on location. Prior to the session, I will send you a detailed map along with all the information about the meeting point.
To make communication easier, we can stay in touch via WhatsApp.
Once the photo session begins, we will easily move between the different locations you’ve chosen using our vehicle.
This compact car, ideal for getting around Paris, can accommodate 4 people or 3 people plus my lighting assistant.
If needed, you can change outfits inside the car.
Some photos require technical and logistical support. Therefore, it is recommended to have an assistant present. They will look after your personal belongings, take care of all the details, and manage the lighting when I’m working with an off-camera flash. Their presence is almost essential for nighttime photo sessions.
Your comfort
Once the photo session is over, I suggest we celebrate with a coffee break. I’ll take this opportunity to explain the next steps.
Back at your hotel, you’ll receive a sneak peek of the photos. You can share them with your loved ones or post them on social media.
In the following days, you’ll receive a link to view all the photos and make your own selection.
